I hate it when I ask for help in Linux communities, and they ask if I’ve tried [insert super advanced thing here], when the only reason I use Linux is because I don’t trust Microsoft, and I just like it better. Too many people think of you use Linux, you must automatically be ultra advanced with tech. That’s not true in the slightest

@Lila_Uraraka I mean to be fair: most people that take the trade offs Linux has in terms of UX because they are tech savvy, and most of the development still happens by and for developed I'd argue.
But it has gotten a lot better over the years. And I hope with Microsoft getting more and more shady (what the heck are they doing with open ai?!?) more and more regular people will use Linux and that's a good thing.
