@PurpleJillybeans I agree

Response telling person asking for help to find the answer elsewhere is a deliberately annoying post

Somehow wastes time of all involved

But also underlying design problem

Bad design amplifies this problem on both QA or forums

Question sites lack curation+moderation resulting in repeated questions and then leads right into this problem

Assuming a question has a single static answer instead of solutions which may solve the problem but create more ie `chmod 777 /`

@PurpleJillybeans I would really like new computer science question site

Essentially all open source tools lack much thought given to governance and meta-organizations

And now even been complicit in pump+dump scams

Answers to Questions vary on say version of Linux, answers should be merge-able, they should likely have versions, and they should be curated and moderated closely because the resulting question site would be an incredibly powerful tool

@PurpleJillybeans I think if the site is collecting ad revenue too the question answer-ers should be getting paid

Don't like how many sites, owned by massive companies like Conde Naste and Reddit; and people generating all the content get meaningless digital kiche, meaningless upgrades

I don't think writers, sex workers, etc should be doing work for free but we have a system that pressures them into doing just that
