Fedi, can you advice a self-hosted finance tracking software with multi-user support?
I've been using GnuCash for years and it fits perfectly for personal finance tracking, but is not very convenient to use for couple.

Requirements:
1. Self-hosted
2. Supports joint budget for two users
3. Has iOS client

Currently I'm looking at actualbudget.com but their approach to joint accounts seems a bit weird. Is there something better?

@mdbr > Shared asset accounts are shared with a partner, roommate or spouse. Use this to indicate that both (all) of you have access to this account. You can't actually share access between accounts yet.

Не совсем то, что хотелось бы

Modibor :wbw:

@rayslava блин. Я думал к 6 версии они это поменяли. Ибо это с 4 весит минимум. Тогда извини.

Artificial Stupidity

@rayslava very hacky approach, probably, some plain text accounting, for phones there are simple apps to add spending transactions and at home import both into main sheet

they have some iOS client here hledger.org/mobile.html, but also hledger is most advance at this moment, and if you are about self-host it, hledger has web mode, for adding transactions

not sure about join accounts, but I heard that some quite big businesses instead of all these accounting proprietary software are using PTA

@AncientGood yep, that will work, but I could just use GnuCash Mobile in that case.

And I'm looking for a more user-friendly solution to delegate a budget care to my partner :D

At last I decided to give a try to Firefly III, set up server, installed client, aaaaaaaand mobile app doesn't work :D
Met github.com/victorbalssa/abacus right from the start.

Very common thing for OSS: everything works perfectly for decades if you ask a long-term user but it's always not the right time for newcomer to join :)

Nevertheless the system looks promising and it seems that just sharing credentials will do for shared budget.
