@sysmocom do I understand correctly that using it in place of a SIM in a non eSIM enabled mobile phone would add eSIM capabilities? Is this limited to some region/areas?
@endorama yes, you understand the product correctly. It is not limited to any region/area, as there is only one global GSMA Certificate Authority for consumer eSIM RSP [from which the sysmoEUICC1-C2G certificates are derived]. So a mobile operator issuing an eSIM has no clue in which region/area the eUICC is used.
