Two named by generation, one named by connector, and one by… professionalism? @caspercdn @ismh That’s disappointing, and another $129 for me to give Apple. I really tried to hold out buying another one after my pencil 2 died, but at least the kids will be happy. @caspercdn @ismh loss of magnetic charging was one of my concerns with a new pencil. Glad to see they worked it out. And the additional features seem cool. I hope Goodnotes is updated to take advantage of the barrel roll and haptic features.  @ismh Kinda wish I kept my 1st gen pencil. It's a classic but I guess if I were that desperate I can just buy it in a year or two.   @ismh Was I interpreting correctly that the new Pencil Pro with Find My is not supported on the new iPad Air?    @ismh Which one will work with my Macintosh Performa 600? And do I need a separate one for my Centris, Quadra, and Power Macs?  @ismh Give it a few more years and every iPad owner will have their own bespoke Pencil. But will any of them work for left-handers? Never could do anything but sign the simplest documents, making it the most expensive pencil I ever owned, let alone had very little use for. |
