@dillo

off-topic: I miss thos old days of compact smartphones. Nowadays, 6.3" is considered as compact, which IS NOT.

I want to be able to check something on my way, but not with a 7" monster in my pocket - it always looks like I am too happy to see some woman on the street 😞

@peterkotrcka except from the camera being terrible, I think they are pretty usable nowadays (ignoring the current software obesity).

@dillo Yeah - but the camera is still better than anything you can get on a dumbphone 😄

I would pay a fortune ($fortune = $fairphone_price) for a Fairphone Mini - something like 5.5", replaceable battery, decent long term supported SoC (like they have in FP 5), supported for 5+ years.

@peterkotrcka probably there is enough demand for Fairphone or Pine64 to make one.

@dillo pine is getting a bit too expensive (here in the EU) for what it does. As a linux machine in your pocket, it is great, but sometimes, surprise surprise, you want to even make phonecalls from your phone 😄

@peterkotrcka @dillo I have a 4″ one and don’t want the 4.7″ successor model because it’ll not fit into the hand as well…
