But most trees are on the picture with the lowest water level. Sadly this pic hasn't a date - stamp like the others...

On the first picture samples it's the opposite. Worst trees and worst level are on the pic without date...

But @oxytocinated made two toots. One with three pics and the second toot with four pics.

3rd pic of the 1st toot is without date.
Like the 1st pic of the 2nd toot...🤷‍♂️

@CannaParts

Like I said, _I_ see dates in every aerial pic

And it wasn't me who made the toots, but @tordans

@CannaParts @einhirn FYI I put the year in the image alt description and just updated the source of the latest image which is hidden in a PDF at data.geobasis-bb.de/geobasis/i

🙈 - ahhh OK... now I got it...🤦‍♂️

So, to take the green as an indicator we absolutely need the month, too... otherwise lowest level with most green in the 1st pic of the 2nd toot would be a paradoxem...

Yeah, either need time of year, or a solid confirmation that here there's zero level fluctuations with seasons.

In Latvia, in some places the vertical water level change is measured in meters. If one would compare springtime and summertime pictures, they might think all the water is gone.

For example, see the following two pictures - this is just seasonal change.

@richlv @CannaParts @tordans The first picture is from march 2020, the second from may 2022 (you can see it in the photo). The loss of trees for me looks like what you find all over Germany: damages from bark beetle, which were very much increased by drought in some regions.
