I dunno a thing about their methodology, but the claim here from a net research firm is that 49.6% of all net traffic is now bots, of which 32% is malware bots scanning for attack surfaces. That's of *all traffic on the internet.*

Dead internet theory looks less and less conspiratorial by the day.
