Great news! In general NVidia is taking up speed. Not as good as AMD, mind you, but I think when this year comes to an end we're talking about Wayland problems and not NVidia-Wayland-problems anymore. @gamingonlinux that could mean that NVIDIA might be moving towards open source but given their history it's hard to say for sure @gamingonlinux A look into an optimistic future headline: "Nvidia employee and Nouveau contributor adds commit that gets Nouveau functioning correctly on Maxwell and Pascal" |
@gamingonlinux I don't know what to think about that one... In one hand it may be the very first for Nvidia in the right direction, embracing Open Source, in the other, it's Nvidia, a company that can't accept Open Source to the point they have added huge bloatware in the kernel in order to not open their card like AMD do :/
