@beyondmachines1 someone months from now is gonna complain like all hell when that bus is removed @beyondmachines1 - and then it breaks down anyway, because while it may be used as said feature for a while, it wasn't built for it & thus can't keep doing it without inevitably failing... How is that different from all other "agile" features: Everything is half-assed. To be fixed at future unspecified date, preferably when it's somebody else's problem. @jwcph @beyondmachines1 And a critical ticket is raised to get it fixed, because it is now a vital part of business process. @SteveClough @jwcph but the Dev has no idea how to recreate the bug, i mean feature 🙃 @beyondmachines1 a bugture? A Fug? If it’s fug technically you could be the Lead Fugger in a company… @atlas Oh no, one must never acknowledge that it was a bug. Always insist it's a *feature* unless PM and Dev lead say otherwise. @beyondmachines1 Chortle. From experience on Fixed Price Contracts, the difference between a bug and a feature is that features cost extra... @arcadiagt5 which begs the question - does the supplier charge extra if the user starts using the bug as a feature 🤔 @beyondmachines1 Usually, in my experience at least, the extra cost is to, ah, "enhance" the feature (when in-scope bugs get "fixed" for free(ish)). :) @arcadiagt5 TBH from what i've seen the engineers working on a Fixed Price Contracts are in a very bad situation. Can't comment on the sales team... @beyondmachines1 Bear in mind that my experience is entirely with software contracts which may vary somewhat from purer engineering contracts.... @beyondmachines1 and if you try to fix it, someone will inevitably scream:"hey don't break my workflow!! 😡" @wall_e you can always channel Jira, and "decide what's best for the users" @beyondmachines1 It crashed into the Lana River in Tirana, Albania. https://euronews.al/en/bus-removed-from-lana-river-due-to-ongoing-investigation/ @mattjhodgkinson So they did remove the feature after all! Jira likes that. @beyondmachines1 They said the plan was to return it as an art installation and warning to drivers, but I don't know if it was done. |
@beyondmachines1, I'd mention in the alt text that the doors are open on both shores.
