@gamingonlinux I'm hoping I can help increase that graph myself... Just need explicit sync to be finalized in the Nvidia drivers, and I should be good to go. @gamingonlinux ยซ For those thinking it may be due to Steam Deck with SteamOS, it's unlikely, at least not directly. StatCounter gather their info from web traffic across over 1.5 million sites globally. I doubt all that many browse the web regularly on Deck. ยป That's what I was going to ask and the weakness of this count even if I'm not sure it changes things drastically. Personally, I consult the Steam site thru a (work shh) Windows, but I play on my Linux PC where I only launch the client. @gamingonlinux In my case, the Steam Deck definitely had an indirect effect. I loved using desktop mode so much that I made the switch on my main PC too. @gamingonlinux I don't casually browse on my Steam Deck, but I regularly use it to download mods which might get counted from time to time. @gamingonlinux I know that this year I had went to my Linux box as my virtually only desktop. My laptop I take to game will probably get swapped over as I got it in 2018. With some dork ups (Like my Diablo, SC2, and WoW not working right, when it had been) I've not had to do anything to game on my windows box (which is also the older, not upgraded machine) I imagine many people feel the same way. I used to use my linux box for productivity and exploration, and win for gaming. Not so much nw |
