 @notjustbikes well the problem is, the only thing the government does is present nice looking renders, while continuing doing nothing to actually implement them. And it's not like it's a recent thing, there are plans from 2016, 2018, 2019, 2021 and so on |
@weethet well, cars are parked on the sidewalk, but it doesn't look THAT bad. The buildings are near the road, there's a sidewalk, and destinations look relatively close together.
They definitely need more illegal parking enforcement, and Cyprus could stand to have a lot more walking paths and cycling lanes, but saying it's "worse" than the US is very exaggerated.
Cyprus could be great with just a few small changes. The only thing missing is political will.
