@nickheer @marcoarment To be completely honest, I don’t know **exactly** what this does and doesn’t turn off—partly because I’m always signed in to **a** Google account. If it’s an account setting, does it really know not to bother me if I’m signed out? Your solution is arguably better for people with the know-how, but at least this setting is **something** for “normal” people. Awful all around. I benefit from and rely on Google but feel ickier about it year-by-year. (See also Dropbox.) |
