So, despite many claims that "guy" is gender-neutral, we all know that it isn't.
And sure, we have an equivalent in "gal", but what about our ungendered and non-conforming friends?
I propose, instead of guys and gals, we just use goobers.

@DelilahTech goobers is cool. I like that. I have tried (and still occasionally fail) to stop using "Guys". @DelilahTech i heard someone say "ladies and germs" in a tv show and its stuck with me @DelilahTech "chat" or "folks" is what I personally use @DelilahTech my favourite comeback to that is (said to a cis guy) "how many guys have you fucked?" @DelilahTech@tech.lgbt serious question from a non native: is mate (m8) gender neutral? |
@DelilahTech It is most not gender neutral I would say. It’s a very male word that has been claimed as the only word for that purpose.
My kids (only girls) wonders why people use that word when talking about a group of girls.
Goobers is way better in that way.
