Problem with #Inkscape is that if the UI gets updated to something like Illustrator, Designer or Corel, long time users will rise in arms against it, because of potatoes... Potatoes meaning "lose of familiarity" .
Blender is a great example of what a good change in UI can do to get more users and financing.
@DBG3D @metin Yea and there was enough moaning about the changes in their UI even though it is fully customiseble and Right Click select is still an option.
I wish Ton and team took the helm for Inkscape and Gimp, or at least the stearing group.
