@beep you might also like https://rknight.me/apps/tracker-zapper/ for Mac or https://www.kryogenix.org/code/utm_no/ for Linux (or Firefox's built in thing, as you say) for stripping out tracking crap from copied links, although this doesn't help on phones, and it's less loving if software does it for you than if you handcraft it yourself. But I think people will be OK with that :)
