@gamingonlinux @gamingonlinux the only thing I like about Snaps is that the syntax for working with them via the terminal is better than flatpacks. But even that isn't worth it for me. @gamingonlinux Easy to dunk on snaps, but scammers tend to go with what is popular. Linux desktops have generally gotten away without having to worry about this sort of thing, but maybe Ubuntu in particular has hit critical mass. :blobsweats: But seriously, snaps should go away. 😋 @gamingonlinux _Surely_ they do something! 😩 I wonder if its just some automatic code checking. @gamingonlinux This is actually pretty bad for snaps. The whole point of a centralized app publisher is to prevent issues like this. |
