@emailgeek @DrTCombs @Uglesett @SheDrivesMobility I am especially fond of the "crime" of short walking. @prefec2 @emailgeek @DrTCombs @Uglesett @SheDrivesMobility That is how we came up with "jaywalking" But really, to hammer the point home, it should be called "midgetwalking" Since the author credits are a bit anonymous in the image, here's the link to the artist's page for the comic: Has anyone any idea what is driving this trend? It seems quite impractical. Even if you don't care about children, you probably care about barriers, shopping karts, ferraris, low walls,... @Uglesett @prefec2 @DrTCombs Yeah, I don't think we should be rediculous and regulate the height of vehicles... I'm a pretty regular adult height. Walked in front of the neighbour's truck, and realised I barely am a head's height taller than the hood. I may even be taller than median height for adults, almost certainly taller than median height of total population. One would think that by now, with all that's happening to the Earth's climate, we'd have dumped the EPA rules that make big, heavy vehicles more profitable to carmakers than small, light ones thanks to disparate mpg penalties. We need to admit it was a failure and fix the problem. Please delete that. There’s real danger it would spread word to German ministry of transport. (That’s the folks who want to press eFuels to the EU in a desperate attempt to preserve profits from cumbustion engines). I don’t want my children to be cited all the time for violating safe traffic rules. @Uglesett Good of you to edit, as only now I saw what you replied to. Effing criminal, dem cars. *smh. @Uglesett @prefec2 @DrTCombs @jensorensen They just need to sit the driver on top of the engine like they do in proper lorrys. |
@Uglesett @DrTCombs love it.
Also it is weird/strange/shocking when cartoons are so close to reality.
