If I were to self-host I’d definitely look for a lightweight implementation but you’re already running mastodon…
Is it mostly an experiment? As a user why would I sign up on one instance vs the other?

@mario For a new user of the BSD Cafe, I recommend subscribing to the Mastodon instance. Additionally, I suggest trying out snac2 with the eventual goal of self-hosting it. I have faith in snac2 and am sharing this to raise its visibility and provide users with the chance to try it out.
