@carlschwan Finally :christmasparrot: I am hoping my experience is much more stable than my previous experience(s) 🙂🙃🙂 @beaiouns yeah the KUBE is back!!!! Now I can flex again to my friends about the power of Linux 😜  @carlschwan Better support for notifications, better integration with KDE Connect, maybe a way to send tabs to my main computer without having to be in the same network?
@carlschwan I hope they will fix issues I have with current rc - e.g. panel freeze after disconnection of external monitor. @carlschwan My favourite Plasma 6 features are HDR support, floating panels, and since I'm a sucker for nice effects, the return of the cube switcher. And of course all the speed-ups and lower resource usages are also always extremely welcome features.  @carlschwan   @carlschwan I'm really excited for QT6 apps supporting native fractional scaling on Wayland. The way it works on Plasma 5.27 is fine, but this'll be a small, nice improvement.  @carlschwan Very excited!! ☺️ I'm looking forward to the "Dodge Windows" panel setting, Frameless view with QtWidgets and the new Overview.  @carlschwan I heard fedora KDE 40 will use plasma 6; do I have to wait for that or can I update before (apologies, noob question from a noob) @2du Fedora has Plasma 6 available in rawhide but I would recommend to wait for Fedora 40 because rawhide is not really production usage.    |
