@gamingonlinux hasn't the decryption angle already played out before in court. You're allowed to break encryption for research purposes.

Yuzu just have to say the emulation project is a research project.

@gamingonlinux Looking at the rhetoric of their (Nintendo's) claims, the language deliberately states that Nintendo has a monopoly over the software that runs on their console. Given all of the "anti-gatekeeper" legal initiatives that have taken hold in Europe, it will be interesting to see if Nintendo isn't implicated due to their own language and practices.
