I dunno, bruv, whilst I've read the rest of the fucking poem, I spoke out because it was shitty for the transgender community. Seems a good enough reason to me to speak out, to be brutally honest, not just because if I don't, they'll come for me. @chad If you've ever wondered what you would have done during the civil rights or women's suffrage or abolitionist movements, it's whatever you're doing now for trans rights. Unfortunately for most people that appears to be simply shrugging and moving on. @chad I'll note that I also understand that some people are grievously unhappy before transitioning and much better after, and that alone is enough to say "let them do their thing, anything else is pointless cruelty". @chad reminds me of the Emo Philips bit, about the jumper he tried to talk down from the bridge. @chad White men have lost their humanity in the midst of all their power that stems from all the -Isms they've created and are upholding to make sure the power of CIS, straight, able bodied, 'healthy', rich, Christian, white men over the rest of humankind will always stay. |
@chad Thank you.
