 @J12t I was joking, but I'd define world domination as activity pub becoming the de facto standard for social media, with the big names (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok...), and the small, competing over who has the best access to the fediverse and playing fairly to expand and extend the protocol. This would require winning a cultural battle, changing the mind of billion of people to expect their social experience to be as open as the telephone system. 1/ |
@muzzle So how does "world domination" look like for you? Because I think it's a bit tricky to define without falling into the same hole that Facebook et al are in.
