Since Reddit has now sold out to AI, a reminder if you're into #Linux / #LinuxGaming that Lemmy exists and it's open source.
I'm a mod here too: https://lemmy.ml/c/linux_gaming@lemmy.ml

@gamingonlinux really glad I nuked my old accounts with empty comments. @gamingonlinux yeah, I think I should go and either edit my old posts or completely delete them tbh. @gamingonlinux Honestly, the only AI i like are the AI-Controlled Players in Mulyiplayer games, they matter, a lot @gamingonlinux I googled but can only find Lemmy from Motorhead. What is Lemmy? @gamingonlinux I haven't been back to Reddit since the API apocalypse last summer. The only exceptions have been when Reddit is the only result in a search. Why are people still contributing content to that dumpster fire? I wish Lemmy results started showing in Google searches more frequently. @gamingonlinux OMG, I didn't know it before I see your toot, thanks for the tip. Honestly I never used reddit because I find it cumbersome, weird, not practical to use and still don't get the purpose of it compared to good old forums powered py PHPBB and alternatives. But maybe I'll try Lemmy if I find it interesting to use. |
