I had a community tower garden ( 400ish? grow ports) ever since the start of the pandemic. Gifted them to the Wellington garden club last year as we're in downsizing mode. @jeff I expanded mine, too, when the pandemic started. Figured I didn't really want to second-guess who had sneezed on my veggies ;-) 400! I have a bit less than 200. And I miss them so much, I really don't like paying $2.50 for a head of rotting ice berg at the grocery store. Some plants make it through the california winter, like my Swiss Chard, but not too many. |
That would be Bok Choi being germinated in the growing cubes that will go into the hydroponics system as soon as this rain storm is over.
They are just 4 days old since I gave the seeds some water. Also germinating some lettuce (almost as fast) and Leeks, Beets and Kohlrabi. They take longer, apparently.
