 @meeper They did. The authorized English translation of the Bible is under perpetual crown copyright in the UK and only Cambridge University Press can legally publish it.

then go into operating systems research GNUapologists be like glibc is a feature complete implementation of a libc and that means a staticly linked hello world has to be 500K, and we need all more extensions than the wild west of unix
@meeper glibc doesn't have working static linking, it's gigantic libc that's incomplete.
