my friend send me a joke about that idea that when you die you get to see a movie about your life. it said “not only are we dying, we have to watch latin american cinema: depressing, experimental and low budget”  absolutely hate living in a world where I see something wonderful online and immediately think "is this generated by a monster machine"?

@lzg This happened to me just today. My niece boosted a set of pretty landscape photos and I felt compelled to zoom in and scrutinize a few before deciding they were real. @lzg As someone who grew up during the early days of the web, it absolutely frustrates me to see how stupid the web has become. Between big tech and AI, it's just a nightmare.
