@luka Awesome work. We're trying to figure out our site more now. It's so odd to remember what it was like back in the 'day' when we were all scrambling to learn HTML and how to make a site at all - and now efforts like yours to actually promote (political / cultural) literacy around what a platform actually IS are so critical to the future of it all.

I love the idea of a toolkit - a pragmatic set of tangible actions that people can take.

@luka@sonomu.club if i catch you in the action of forgetting, i would never forgive myself for not telling you in the first place. but i will always forgive you for forgetting. Nothing can supercede your vows of betterment, but every friendship crumbles when vows become pattern.

Chose community and learning. Don't allow people more access to your bandwidth than you can provide.

Hence, "undescribed media will get user suspend".... before registration.

@luka on other instances I use, the strictest policy is "image description is strongly encouraged and there are reminder posts every now and then, but mods acknowledge there are reasons why people can't describe images, e.g. low spoons due to disability."
