congratulations! you have successfully installed arch linux on your machine after a few explosions of grub
, systemd-boot
, and archinstall
, but your machine should be relatively stable now; good work. :blobcatthumbsup: :neocat_heart:
now, in the rare occasion of your bootloader / systemd / anything else blow up again, adding a USB drive that has a bootable arch install ISO to your everyday carry is strongly recommended -- it can help you boot into your existing environment, or as a last resort, help you do a fresh install when you are out and about.
make sure this USB drive is almost always with you, but rest assured, the arch linux community have figured this out.

@kuriko funnily enough, arch linux never exploded on me in itself at all.
it was rather the desktop environments shooting themselves in the foot sometimes and borking shit in a way that would not let me work with it.
well, to be fair, archinstall did explode on me a few times but that's because I forgot to configure smaller things by accident.
@kuriko Im pretty sure I have the exact same collar
@kuriko i should have a bootloader on my flash drive tbh
