@konomikitten The admin still hasn't sorted it out? I could believe his story a couple of days after the Reddit migration, but now I do just believe he's just bigoted, considering he comes from poland and hangs around on horrible local sites
@konomikitten@tech.lgbt kbin.social is simply un-moderateable in both scale and the lack of moderation tools. the singular admin (afaik) is too busy actually making the code work (kbin barely existed before the reddit migration hit) than moderating what's the equivalent of mastodon.social
at least the lemmy side of the "threadiverse" seems to have spread over a fair bit of instances (lemmy.world is still way too large tho), whereas kbin is overwhelmingly centralized. (tbf from what i heard, there isn't any documentation on setting an instance up)
it's a lose/lose situation for everyone involved.
