Momo is taking advantage of her fortunate feline birth to study some dharma, this weekend program with Mingyur Rinpoche. I wish I'd been doing more with him all along -- he's always been one of my favorites. If you are interested in #meditation and you ever have a chance to be in a room with Mingyur, do it. Short of that, find online stuff You know how in Miyazaki’s Totoro there was a cat bus? Here’s a mockup for the sequel, which features a double decker cat bus. (Just now, newly opened box) Willy Ronis #OldMasters #caturday #cats #filmphotography #blackandwhite #filmgrain (I have to say, that little bit of what is maybe a wool fiber just to the left of the foreground cat's ear does NOT make me miss film) I posted photo and video of Momo yesterday. Here she is with her brother Cowboy (and adopted sister Squeek) when she was a kitten. I wish I'd gotten more of these and done better. She has given up such foolish and youthful indulgences, though she is still young at heart. I never thought this behavior would pass, but suddenly one day she had enough. She used to start it up by herself by nudging it and hop on for a little ride. Momo thinks the carpet in front of the wood stove is the place to be. She’s not wrong. Our vet, who does house calls, is amazed my three cats allow this kind of belly rubbing. Shows a lot of trust, she says. |
