30 years ago, a 19 year old Swarthmore student started blogging EVERYTHING that happened to him. In 2004, New York Times Magazine declared him "the founding father of personal blogging." I mention this because this is the 30th anniversary of his site:

Ummm, yeah, I went to link and found a very "Blah" blog. Okay Justin Hall is first blogger ( you didn't mention his name BTW).
Likewise: James Naismith was the inventor of basketball and developed the University of Kansas basketball program. But Naismith compiled a record of 55–60 and is ironically the only losing coach in KU history.
I taught three courses at Stanford for ten years and one course at UC Berkeley for four years and I wish I had followed up on my hatred of grading -- what it does to both educators & learners, as well as questions about whether it enhances or inhibits learning. More recently, Ungrading has come into its own, based on and advancing older pedagogies. @Jessifer has provided a great bibliography for those who want to learn more: https://www.jessestommel.com/ungrading-a-bibliography/

Pataphysical studios is a very loose collection who very loosely subscribe to 'Pataphysics. We are olden folk who built things for Bill Graham Presents, Burning Man, Industrial Light & Magic. Now we're working on a time machine. Best part of this particular project is that the deadline is irrelevant. https://pataphysics.us/time-machine/
