I think I'm going to blog about this in more detail at some point but the gist of it is that the era of the #OGL is done. Finished. Anything that is released under the OGL 1.0a is an artifact that will need serious archaeological work to liberate from its tomb.
WotC has killed off the OGL. If you have the luxury of relicensing your work under a different license please do so. If you are so inclined to wait for the ORC license that's fine but please explore the CC licenses in the mean-time.
I'm happy to have the conversation with anyone about better understanding the Creative Commons licenses. I've already had it with one publisher. They're not that complicated to understand but they do require a paradigm shift from the #OGL. Happy to talk you through it.
(Note: I'm not an actual lawyer, just a license enthusiast).
