Hackers were sued after making public how train manufacturer #newag manipulated their trains to prevent third-party repairs.

Legal fees are around 30,000€ by now.

The CCC is now calling for donations to cover the legal and other resulting costs incurred so far.

Next Generation Internet is an important funding initiative of the European Commission. Its future however looks bleak or at least uncertain.

We join other organizations in signing the open-letter calling for preservation of the #NGI programme. It is important an important piece in a sustainable future for open-source software.
