During our hike on the Albsteig, I didn’t set out to create a 'four-squares' composition. No ambition to make 'art,' just casually photographing the beautiful landscape. It was only afterward that I noticed the four colored squares. A real aha moment. In the future, I’ll have to pay attention to horizons and vertical lines and see if I can produce a better four-squares square. :-)

Sometimes it just has to be a cat. What else is the internet for? Let me introduce you to Fanny. She’s been living with us for 13 years now, or rather, she’s been tolerating us since then. We got her from a shelter, but she was born in Moscow. I still don’t quite get why animals need to be transported halfway across the continent to Germany. She’s an outdoor cat, and when she catches something, it’s usually mice, thankfully.
