On the off chance.... (Could you please boost?) Does anyone have this book but are not using it, and would like to gift or sell it? A Taste of Browns by Greg Brown (who had Browns cafes/patisseries in Melbourne). I used to have it, and gave it away quite a while ago. I deeply regret it now, the book has some very very special recipes in it. Love to hear from you if you have a copy. I'd even settle for a photocopy. We pretty much adore eggplant and cook it in soups, curries, salads, baked, roasted, grilled, sauteed and steamed. I have a huge number of eggplant dishes that I have made over the years. Did you know eggplant is wonderful deep-fried? The eggplant is soaked in tamarind before frying which adds flavour and tenderises it.
