@stux The point of 50’s-era 90% marginal tax rates was to incent companies to invest money into their businesses. These investments were tax-deductible, thereby reducing taxes while providing a benefit to society. Merely reducing the marginal tax rate allows business and the wealthy to just hold the wealth, without producing any benefit to society. We should create a separate, higher rate structure for those who choose to leave the US while keeping all the benefits of being here.

And I'm not saying companies/apps should do whatever it takes to keep it safe, ofc they should do that

Also I'm not a parent so it's easy for me to say! But I do notice this a lot with the kids from the neighbours for example

And yes, there are other ways! I also had to grow up without an iPad and yet I did gain some tech knowledge

I need 3 homes on the water. 2 in Florida and one in the Caribbean, preferably a private island. 4 boats. 3 midsize electric vehicles with solar to charge them and houses. Furnishings. A new pair of cut offs and a couple new swim tops. Fishing gear for friends use.

And a proper Captain for the larger boat, I just do inshore. That should about cover it. Gimmie my billion so I can help others, now.

@stux I mean it's pretty easy to spend that much money. Like browse Zillow and just start buying houses until 100M is hit. In expensive areas, that would be super easy.
