Mila is usually a ‘elegant and poised’ cat, except when there’s raw chicken on the counter and she thinks it’s for her. She’s so old (17? 18?) she probably has cataracts now My cat likes to go into the bathroom. Simply because she’s not allowed there. When she makes it there, she just stands and stares, like ‘there’s nothing here’. Yep, I toldchu! She will do it every time anyway. Mila yells at me until I do my job: hand feeding her two meals a day at exactly the same time every day Me: I hope I can bond with my cat (never had one until Mila) Also me: this cat is literally stuck to me. Bonding achieved. Maybe a little too well We adopted a senior tortie. She is now a senior couch potato tortie. I love her so much We adopted Mila when we saw her at Petco when we first arrived. The volunteers were so happy that someone was interested in a 11 year old they were like, TAKE HER, she needs a retirement home She’s found that in us. Retirement means napping on many laps and blankets all day and all night. She’s 17 now! |
