Mila: meditation is important, but have you considered the benefits of feeding me instead? Some nights I pull out a mattress and sleep in the living room next to this baby who loves to cuddle but can’t climb upstairs anymore (stairs are too tall for ramps) My cat nipped at me for petting her for too long. When I stopped petting her at all, she also nipped me. Torties are about moderation and about extremities all at once. Mila’s face when she sees a finch outside the window (she only gets to look, she’s an indoor cat) Mila is 17.. 18? No idea, we got her as a senior. She is the most food motivated cat in my life. She found the right family for her obsession When I first got Mila I was like ‘wut? She doesn’t like fish?’ (She refused to eat fish kibble) (But it turns out she only likes *good* fish, like the salmon and white flesh fish that the hoomans eat) Before I got a cat, everyone told me I shouldn’t expect that she be as attached to me as my dog is. After I got this cat, I realized they meant I should expect that she’s literally attached to me all the time One paw on me, one paw on the table (that has food that she wants). Mila is a super food-motivated cat (and probably begs more than Cookie, which is an accomplishment) My cat is obsessed with bread, yogurt and chicken (and shoes, but we don’t speak of that) |
