So as we’ve been posting these assets everywhere, it’s been interesting to see which services strip the images down to sRGB and compress it to kingdom come.   Nice remembrance of ahead-of-it's-time Yahoo! Pipes. (Presumably Retool published it as a little way to say *Remember that? That was cool. But like, we can do that stuff too, now, better.") I remember stitching RSS feeds together in Pipes and loving it. I feel like Zapier is a bit more pipes-like these days though. God yes, used to use Yahoo! Pipes to mash up RSS feeds from various music sites and get a feed of upcoming local gigs in iGoogle. Web 1.0 was great. i was always on board with mask mandates but i draw the line at telling me to not touch my face. that’s my favorite thing to do. if you take that from me, i have nothing. You know, I kinda miss covid... It was simpler calmer times. The entire humanity was fighting it together instead of fighting each other like now we don’t ask for permissions right on first launch. we wait our turn, present the prompts when the user wants the feature. very demure, very mindful, very classy I worked with Bruce for six years and he's a very smart fellow.
