If anyone replies to me with something like:

"how is this news?"

- Instant Mute.

Seriously. Some of your attitudes are so so tiring to read.

Let me take you to school for a moment:

- Did something happen? Might some people be interested to know about it?
- Congratulations. That's news.

And then you see what they consider "news" and you KNOW they were just trolling to aggravate the shit out of you.

i'm bound by a blood pact to keep hitting the "Delay by 3 months" button on an Infernal Doomsday Machine only on the condition that I can verify Heroes of Might and Magic 2 is playable & feature complete on Fedora Linux so I find your website very useful

@gamingonlinux Damn, I've been dreaming about some open world RPG set in the 4th age based on Tolkien's notes and we get this, survival games are getting deader with every release of that kind...

@mingling@mastodon.social I noticed that Emu Deck and Emulation Station defaulted to the Linux version of Cemu on Steam Deck. The performance of Breath of the Wild (Wii U) was still better with the Windows/Proton version of Cemu so changed it for that game.

withoutclass

@gamingonlinux Hrm, I installed and ran the game yesterday without specifically enabling proton compatibility. Does it come enabled by default?

@gamingonlinux That's pretty useful. I hope they expand this to some more granular options eg "Played on system similar to mine" (Using hardware survey data) or "Played on Windows/Mac/Linux (Proton)/ Linux (Native)"

@gamingonlinux Iโ€™ve been waiting for this for a long time

@gamingonlinux I wish they'd let you set a custom resolution, I have an older TV with a non-standard 1368x768 resolution which is frustrating to use to the deck because it just doesn't scale properly...

Cyanide Sampler

@gamingonlinux My system has been cooked since last night after updating to the newest kernel. This shit isn't entirely unusable but it's very frustrating

Cyanide Sampler

@gamingonlinux In the article, you mention the solution being to use "linux-lts". What's that and does an equivalent exist for Fedora?
