Dwarf Fortress too retro? Songs of Syx is worth looking at with another big Beta update
Dwarf Fortress too retro? Songs of Syx is worth looking at with another big Beta update Steam be like: "game releasing in less than an hour" *time passes* Steam also be like: @gamingonlinux have you tried restarting steam to apply its pending patches? Maybe the game you want needs the next hours version of the steam client? (I don't know if this is a serious or joking idea. I am just baffled at how often steam and steam games need updates on linux) Mega Man-like side-scroller action game Super Alloy Ranger now on Linux @gamingonlinux how the heck did I not know about this game? Instantly wishlisted! (Just a little worried about the partial contoller support.) GOverlay app for managing the MangoHud overlay gets a bunch of new options @gamingonlinux ooh nice Pokemon-like 'Coromon' finally has big FPS problem fixed for Steam Deck / Linux

@gamingonlinux Are you sure? The last update to Coromon was November 3rd according to steam, and it was still broken in that update. @gamingonlinux wait it came out? Remember seeing it on twatter years ago donโt think Iโd be into those games anymore Iโll have to take a look at it The Division 2 launches on Steam today, and we already know it uses Easy Anti-Cheat. Sadly not many developers have enabled it for Linux / Steam Deck but I'll take a look. I don't think Ubisoft even cares about how much good favour they could attain with a surprise Proton-compatible launch. Unfortunate. Plenty more to play though, and plenty of devs to support. @gamingonlinux if only I could buy it officially in Norway, but since I couldn't resellers get my money instead. @gamingonlinux Ended up paying ยฃ400 second-hand for the 256GB model here. Haven't seen anything in the way of fake decks here, just scalper prices. (ยฃ650 for the 256GB model... Yeah nope.) @gamingonlinux Hell yeah. #WadjetEye games are incredible. You can jump in eyes closed. @gamingonlinux This is the best Humble bundle I've seen in ages. Worth it for Unavowed alone. It's incredible how fast NVK is maturing! Looking forward to see their progress in the future. @gamingonlinux Does it solve the bizarre issues with some controllers? I have had weird trouble with both a Steam Controller and Switch Pro Controller. Very frustrating, we couldn't use our dock at all as a result. Counterplay Games makes tactical card battler Duelyst completely open source @gamingonlinux I enjoyed my time with Duelyst, itโs a good game. Cool to see itโs gone open source! My YouTube video talking about that steamdeck . info store, that JSAUX teamed up with, that sold Steam Accounts and still claims to sell brand new Steam Decks at a discount is still blocked in the UK for โdefamationโ ๐ But now Valve put out a PSA at least ๐ @gamingonlinux Australian consumers are some of the fastest adopters of new technology globally and yet I can't buy one for love or money officially. @gamingonlinux absolutely. It's not for me - I'm one of those Soulsborne saddos who love a challenge - but if that's how someone else wants to enjoy a game (whatever their reason, whether it's a disability thing, or a time thing, or a "just because" thing is immaterial) then more power to them. @gamingonlinux totally agree. Yes, i like to play on hard mode but i really dont want to be forced to play it like that. Also very important accsessibility feature wich a lot of developers seem to ignore these days. @gamingonlinux full ack! There are genres I kinda like but are just too bad playing on a normal or even harder level. The current Steam Survey numbers seem...off. Reads like Pop!_OS and Linux Mint weren't being counted before. It also shows a total increase for Linux over last month, despite the overall percentage being lower. Whut. @gamingonlinux Personally, I expect people to move more and more from #Windows10 to #Windows11 due to the bs requirement for a #TPM for #CensorBoot... @gamingonlinux PopOS and Mint where probably included in the other field, instead of being identified separately. @gamingonlinux This is based on random samples, so you must expect an inherent error and instability to the numbers. Using a single data point (one month) is not a good idea. |
@gamingonlinux this game looks really nice and very complete game but the really really tiny pixelish game design make really difficult for eyes to follow ... ๐
