@Gargron yes, for some random reasons it is tough to acheive, not impossible but tough.

To get more user base there has to be content on mastodon. To have more content on mastodon, there has to be more users.

Most platforms nowadays pay creators to post on their platforms, as mastodon is a non-profit work, its not a choice to make.

To attract creators mastodon should have some sort of analytics features, verifying official accounts, creator tools. And constant buzz created by present users.

Till date, when discovered that they had peddled some fake news, most of them have not owned up to that.
