On the one hand, I don't care, I don't aspire to be a popular artist and earning money from #music is just a nice bonus for me.
On the other hand, those who remain niche or are just starting their career in music care about it. #Spotify itself happily reports that 86% of its library is made up of that tracks and their tiny indie platform with giant capitalization has a "hard time" paying small artists for their modest but still work.
I have no idea how I missed it, but I highly recommend it: scathing, intense, very funny and dramatic at the same time. In short, it's fucking awesome.
I have an idea for a project, but I don't have a clear understanding of how best to monetize it. The idea is that it will work and perform its task as you set it up, but only when you are gone. After a customizable delay, but guaranteed and automatic.
The problem is that no one knows how long it has until this case, when the service will do its task. And I want to maintain the server and avoid advertisers with corporations. I want to ask for a modest, tiny price for time: like one dollar for a month or five dollars for a year. That should be enough to pay for a notional fifty years up front to cover an "insurance claim" for sure. And it could work as a form of donation: like paying a two hundred years in advance just for me and my work.
I've been using #Telegram since 2016, but only yesterday I found out that there are official servers for testing and debugging bots, web apps and non-standard clients. With free premium, the ability to register a channel with a verification checkmark and without the risk of getting banned due ddos requests to the API and vandalism in channels and chats. Test servers exist separately from the production servers, do not overlap with each other, but work identically.
