Didn't manage to get the live stream working in the slightest, which was an absolute pain in the god damn ass, but I know how to do it for the future, we got some great footage that will be released soon, and we negotiated out basic deals for releasing four LPs for next year.

Small is good, small is all, the large is a reflection of the small.

Many of the major technological and cultural innovations of the last several hundred years have served to flatten the world, eliminate or obviate distance, and bring us closer together as people. Printing, transportation, telephone, radio, television, home video, and the internet have each, in their own way, made our impact on the world bigger, and made parts of the world smaller.

But this came at a price.

@ajroach42 a lot of “yes” vibes from this!

> Because, in a world where Creation and Communication are heavilly commercialized, the act of Creating a Thing or building a community that doesn’t enrich our corporate overlords is a radical act.

@ajroach42 I take it you'd have no problem with me printing this out to distribute in my area? I have IDEAS.

@ajroach42 This is my life philosophy in a nutshell.

Where can I sign it?

I am looking for contributors to #newellijayTV

New Ellijay Television is a #Diymedia collective making #DIYTV in the north #ga mountains.

I need #writers #actors #editors #programmers and publicity people to help us pull this thing off.

We launch to the public on Nov 5th, but there's a lot of work to do before and after then.

If you want to help change the future of television, consider contributing to New Ellijay TV.

Have you heard of a book called Jamming the Media? It looks like it was published in '97 or so.

Someone I am friendly with, but who has proven themselves to have ... Questionable tastes in media recommended this book to me today.

It seems like it would have been Very Much my thing when I was in highschool, but today I can't imagine that it's relevant.

The cover talks a good game, and I'm tempted to pick it up and thumb through it for any lessons from the early days of the web that I may have missed, but ...

Have you read it? Is it worth considering with modern eyes?

Looks like there's a copy on Archive.org that I can check out for an hour or two tomorrow and figure out if it's worth buying.
