The humans can rest assured knowing that their ankles are safe, probably. Tosh (Shropshire, UK) is watching from under the sofa and probably won’t decided to attack them.
The humans can rest assured knowing that their ankles are safe, probably. Tosh (Shropshire, UK) is watching from under the sofa and probably won’t decided to attack them. There are Guinea pigs in a hutch outside the house, and one day while the human was cleaning them out, Otto snuck in and thought that the little critters would make an amazing snack! When the human turned around and saw the cat about to leap up at the pigs, they screamed and sprinted over to him which scared him away and he went bounding over the garden. The pigs are still safe to this day but it did give the human a heart attack! Jonesy (Alberta, Canada) got skunked one night recently and still has pretty stinky little murder mittens… even after a bath. Winnie (Kentucky, USA) is screaming at her human to come upstairs. He held the door open to let her follow him, but she refuses to because she does not like his dad or the dogs. How dare he spend time with anyone but her?! Pippin (BC, Canada) was sitting out in the sun on the balcony, when suddenly a hummingbird came to check him out. Pippin was far too stunned to react, but the visitor carefully inspected the area before zooming off again. In an effort to handle the heat, the humans have been adding ice to their water. Not to be left out, Cosmic (BC, Canada) was given an ice cube to play with and he loves it. TC (Buckinghamshire, UK) has discovered the miniature humans have additional ones over and they are rudely staying up late in HIS room. One advantage of this rude invasion is that they are very happy to provide additional food and treats. He will tolerate this for now... Whenever the humans are cleaning their teeth, they can hear a constant rustling behind them. Its the sounds of Joe (Washington State, USA) exploring behind the shower curtain and watching them from cover. A moth somehow got indoors the other evening, and it was the most exciting night ever for Pippin (BC, Canada). He chased it around the living room wildly before his human eventually caught it and let it free. It is a momentous day. In his benevolence, Jon (Washington State, USA) has permitted his human to rub his belly. It wasn’t even a trap or anything. The human’s desk is much wetter all of a sudden, which means unfortunately Voltaire (Saskatchewan, Canada) will have to find somewhere else to sit. He seems to find this very bothersome. Soufflé (Alberta, Canada) was so sleepy today he nearly slept through dinnertime, which never ever happens. His humans had to go and give him a poke to check he still wanted it. He definitely wanted it, he wasn’t going to let something like sleepiness stop him eating, even if he was yawning the whole time. The humans got up late, and that was extremely annoying of them. Then, just as Steffan (Cardiff, Wales) had settled down, they started getting dressed. Doubly annoying! Julius (Massachusetts, USA) raced to the heirloom Persian rug to deposit a prize World Record-worthy hairball. Tragically, he did not move quickly enough and deposited it on the hardwood floor, where his owners quickly cleaned it up. Sprocket (USA) encountered a nap time challenge over the weekend when his favorite fleece nest on the couch got too warm for him. He had to hop down and stretch his tummy out on the hardwood floor to cool off. Crisis averted, he was able to resume his nap. North (Nova Scotia, Canada) was just walking around the room, brushing up against things, when all of a sudden, for no reason (other than him leaning on it), a vase fell on his head. He rushed out the room lickety-split before any other random items fell over. Roland (Greater London, UK) might be sleeping with his eyes open. He also might just be staring deep into his human’s soul. Molly (Oregon, USA) managed to tear a feather off her favorite toy, and now she has a new favorite toy that she played with non-stop for a while. Unfortunately it seems to have vanished and she can’t find it. Her humans insist it is right behind her, but what do they know? Today marks two years of Cat News.
