I dropped a cigarette butt in my only mask overnight and just had to get on the ubahn with it. I smoke cigarettes but oof this is an unpleasant sensation of being trapped in stale air  wow to anyone who has responded with "advice" to this whinepost: my "advice" is check yourself, posting about things publicly does not mean I am asking for your opinions on my habits or intakes. incredibly rude honestly, especially coming from people who have never interacted with me before looking for a place for @lake and I to stay in #berlin from the 18th to the 23rd of august if you know of anything! please boost for reach #couchsurfing visited an abandoned cherry orchard yesterday and harvested a large bag of very ripe cherries. my friend wanted to test out an antique food dehydrator that came with the house their collective acquired so we pitted them all and left them over night. the left over juice from slicing open all the cherries I mixed with some tonic water and drank which was an incredibly good combination #foraging  fried some wild polygonum shoots in oil and a tiny bit of soy sauce and it was super good. I recently discovered to my surprise that Co-Star allows unicode in their @usernames and this is the first network I have seen that has this support. I have been complaining about the fediverse lack of unicode support in usernames for a long time now and its interesting to see centralized projects get to this milestone first. Though its probably much easier to get this to work right in a centralized environment. also realizing there are some serious issues DMing between instances of only Pixelfed. Just did some experiments between pixelfed.social and piconic.co cause I was curious if threading worked correctly there (it does) and noticed that piconic made no notification that pixelfed.social sent a DM. the only way I got it to show up is to start a new DM from the other side and then the already existing DM appeared. hello @cameresiaccio I see you are setting up accounts for this festival in Barcelona that looks quite interesting. trying to read about it using google translate at the moment is there also information in english? just had a 35 minute zoom meeting with a representative of https://replicate.com they had been looking though active users and cold emailing them to try to understand their user base more. it was a really fun call and enjoyed talking about my artistic process with someone who was very knowledgeable about ML/GAN/AI stuff I have a hesitation to help any company that is not open sourcing all their work but the type of service they offer isn't really available any other way

hey @dantescanline just looking at your songtheif software listed on your git, do you have an instance up I can check out? @liaizon no i never finished it, typical me thing to do to get it to 90% and then not release it. i think those other frontends for youtube might actually be better than what i made, though i just like that its a weird person project out of spite. one of these days i will actually kick it out the door can someone please tell the EU social media marketing team that no one is fooled by their marketing drivel?
