Someone leaked the Instagram Threads.apk Android app I unpacked it and now I am looking though the included files. I don't know too much about the structure of Android apps but there is a ton of insight into what its final form will look like just be exploring the contents...

Looking at any DMs is an obvious one but what are some less obvious things?  @liaizon network analysis. Who follows who, who boosts, and faves. It would be hard to scrape all of that without being noticed. It doesn't sound like this was a target of the raid. But it will give them a clearer view of the movement than the movement has of itself. My lemmy.ca account (and the two lemmy.ca communities that I follow via Mastodon) has still been federating, and they upgraded Lemmy to 0.18.0 a couple days back. Searching for lemmy.ca also brings up other communities in my search box. Posts I made there earlier this AM were visible instantly here. "Lemmy 0.18.0 no longer federates outbound with non-Lemmy instances" if any fedi devs want to look into this, seems like an important bug to get figured out asap #fediverse #fedidev #mastodev
