Dusty is the absolute best cat, the poster child for "mellow" and "floof" and "scritch lover" Zoozvi, the other homeless waif that has taken up residence in our garden, under a corner of the deck. She's a little on the chonky side, and is quite friendly, so I think she had a real home recently, but no one has claimed her. You can't tell from this angle, but her tail has an appalling kink halfway down. The back part droops when she puts it up, and she walks with a slight stiffness in her back hip, so she's been through some things. Tux, one of the homeless waifs that have taken up residence in our garden. He's had a tough time, with a scratched up nose and a limp from an injured leg that had him hobbling on three legs for a month. We feared he was done for, honestly. After several months of Dan the Cat Whisperer working on him, he is content to stay this close when the back door is closed. Otherwise: not so much. Little late #Caturday Diablo was never the sharpest knife in the drawer. He had a fondness for stuffing his head and if he could manage his whole own self in all manner of containers.
