Lucy: The weekend is when people post pictures of their pets on the internet! How do I look? Maddie: That’s just #caturday, sis. “CAT-urday”. Get it? Whenever I see a headline like “Cyber attacks against XYZ industry increase by 2000%” I think, “Oh, they finally started monitoring their networks, huh?”  @hal_pomeranz I also wonder whether they're monitoring external or internal.. stick an IDS outside the firewall and it'll go nuts. But that's like saying stand on a motorway and you'll get run over.. @hal_pomeranz *cough * isn’t that kind of the job of infosec? What exactly have they been doing for the last 30 years?  @hal_pomeranz In future all of my posts (especially the nerdy, technical ones) will be tagged #Caturday and include a cat picture.
